Remember yesterday’s head shot and how he likes to buy outfits for his wife? THIS is the lucky lady!

Contrary to your first thought, this guy is NOT an Abercrombie & Fitch model (although he could certainly pass for one!) He’s also one of those people who said he’s not in front of the camera much so he wasn’t sure how he’d do. Um, HELLO?!? AYKM?!? I’d photograph him any day.
Not only is he extremely good looking, but he’s incredibly kind, sweet, and gentlemanly. He loves to buy pretty outfits for his beautiful wife (he has GREAT taste; she’s always looking fly). He’s a husband, father, brother, uncle, friend, war veteran, golfer, sports lover, and advocate for autism awareness and research. An all-around amazing man who I’m honored to call my friend. (Love ya, Eli! Psst, your wife’s next.)

This 31 Days of Head Shots post is a little longer than normal, but I couldn’t decide which ONE photo to use to express my point. Some people claim they aren’t “photogenic” or they “don’t take good pictures.” To that I say BAH! It’s my job to take good pictures, you just get in front of my camera. I won’t tell you which of these people avoid getting their picture taken, hopefully you can’t tell.
These were taken during my brother/sister-in-law’s wedding day and these are their family members.

When I mentioned to a friend that our photography group was looking for people to model for us, she sent me her cousin’s boyfriend, Rich Fox. Yes, that’s his real name.
Boy howdy did I get lucky! Not only is he a looker, but he was so nice and a bunch of fun for all of us to photograph. He can go from smooth to sweet like a pro.
The other cool thing about him is that he can flip bottles like in the movie Cocktail, though he doesn’t like doing it because it takes up too much time that he could be pouring drinks.
info: photos taken at Gas Works Park, Seattle, WA

I wonder what happened with this gal, Ember Johnson. She came from a few hours away with her nice mom to Seattle for our photographer group shoot in Gas Works Park. At the time, she said she was an aspiring model (and I’ve seen some of her work since then on Model Mayhem which means she’s attained her aspiration) so she came with some practiced skills as well as her natural beauty. I loved that she was very sweet and that made her even prettier. Remember that… the nicer you are, the prettier you are!

Incredible lighting on this portrait, yes? This was in my empty living room after we’d moved back to Seattle and were trying to sell our house. Luckily, it didn’t sell so we could rent it for several years and move back to this beautiful light! Maybe you think it’s silly I get excited over light, but when you have great lighting the photos almost take themselves.
Because of this yummy light situation, I’m toying with the idea of shooting head shots for some kizzash, moolah, dough, but mostly, cash ;)
Want a deal? Okay! Reserve your session back-to-back with a friend, come together to my house in Utah Valley, and you both save $20! Depending on where you eat, that’s worth a free dinner or two lunches.
GIVEAWAY: Leave a comment on this post for your chance to win a FREE 10 minute head shot package (or you can put the $100 value toward the bigger package). Winner must be able to come to my Utah Valley home.

This guy was serving his LDS mission in the Seattle area and said he didn’t have a photo on his plaque at home (that’s where I come in). The first one ended up on his plaque, the second, showing WHO he is, not just what he looks like, ended up on a poster.
What? A poster? Yes. Apparently I hit the wrong button when I ordered prints and upon pick-up they handed me a giant poster of this handsome fella. What in the world am I going to do with THIS?!? Well, it’s turned into a fun souvenir of our time in Seattle. I pull it out when showing people options for photo print sizes. Yes, poster IS an option.
Today is his birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
