Did you ever, in your youth, try that four letter word that starts with N by spreading it all over your harry legs so that the acid could slowly eat away at 2 layers of your epidermis (if it recommends 6 minutes then isn’t 9, 11 or 13 minutes better)?
How many times have you taken those cheap drugstore razor blades to your sweet ankle, pulling up gobs of fleshy meat and NOT a blade of hare (I’ve claimed shark bite and dropping a knife when I did it)?
Ever tried the electrolosis route where you pay over six HUNDRED thousand dollars and willingly let some masochist shock your harry parts with the power of a gajillion transformers (and I’m not talking about autobots here even though I saw it twice in less than a week)?
Well, I’m tired of it all and am not going to take it anymore (que Twisted Sister and their Mimiesque eye shadow). Please tell me of an alternative to torture and the path to everlasting (gobstoppers, you know you said it in your mind) silky legged bliss.
P.S. Does it bug you that I never spelled harie properly?

You don’t want to hear my solution… it involves hairy legs.
Well you might try buying non-cheap razors. All disposable ones tear me up, but I manage with the Venus blades that you can change when they get dull. If you want something other than that you might have to hear melody’s solution.
I use a razor that I can change the blades on…and I shhh! don’t tell! I use conditioner (the kind for your locks) on my well-soaked legs before I shave. It works well for me, but I must admit..it is an ordeal that I don’t have time for everyday, so I only shave about once a week.
I have no solution, but the misspellings bothered me….a lot.
I like the Quattro for women… but yeah…I really wished we evolved past hair on our legs, underarms and the va-jay-jay.Waxing works too… but you have to get a good one who can stick and tear quickly.Have you tried Veet? It actually works…
No solution, but just had to say I was laughing the whole time I read this!
I use conditioner also! I read the tip in a magazine once and have done it ever since. Oh, I tweeze my own eyebrows also, but that could be a bit too time consuming on the legs.
I too read in a magazine about using cheap hair conditioner many years ago. It works as well, if not better, than the expensive ladies shave cream stuff. And since using Sensor I have much less blood letting. For facial hair I use Nads (found at Bed Bath and Beyond). I think though that you can use it on your legs too. Good luck.
Ooh I’m right with rynell. I use a Mach 3 (or 4? Can’t remember.) and it works best if my legs have soaked in the tub, and then it’s hair conditioner to take place of the shaving cream. I have used that other hair removal stuff -the new kind, it’s not Nair, but I can’t remember what it’s called, and I actually really liked it.
I was laughing my butt off while reading that, so thank you :) I think that melody and I have the same solution…it’s just such an ordeal, I rarely waste the time anymore :) (poor hubby!)
Lucky, I think it’s funny that we both wrote hair posts this week. I swear, I didn’t try to copy you! Aveda Rosemary Mint Conditioner works great and feels even better on legs during shaving season. I am sad about missing your hoedown.xo
