Azucar is having a baby. Therefore, we threw her a shower. I say “we” with fervor because it was definitely a joint effort. Thankfully I have friends that save my hide (threw my back out earlier in the week): Jenny sent the invites and brought croissants (assembled too), Cathy brought chicken salad for the croissants, Julie brought YUMMY salsa y chips and Courtney came with dolce de leche sticks and healthy chips (did I miss anyone?). We had a lovely time celebrating Azucar and baby.

So sad I missed it! So glad I could see enjoy the secksy and the haute vicariously. (All I could share with you is fog, cold and snow and too much worry over 15-18-year olds having horseplay on the edge of the Grand Canyon.)So happy for azucar–hope she scored cool loot!

Okay, so this is so random, but I a from the same town as Marilyn and I work with Azucar, and used to work with the sister of Azucar, and I also grew up in the same town as your hubbie Ben, and you stayed at my parents house this summer for the Burbank ward reunion (Well maybe you didn’t, but the rest of your in-laws did), and if you were there, then I’m sure you met Marilyn who is in the Burbank ward. As a matter of fact Marilyn’s uncle in law used to serve in the Bishopric with your father in law years ago!!! By the way this is Chelsea Lybbert–now Chelsea Mahuika.
it makes me laugh. When I saw Azucar’s pic on your blog all I could think was “she’s so gorgeous.” I guess I assumed she looked like her avatar pic….you know, huge afro wig, giant dorky smile, crazy makeup. isn’t that funny?!

Those pictures are so great. I am so glad that you did that for her and SO sad that I missed it!! Man.Carina is one of the most stylish women I know and makes being beautiful seem easy.
